Some new from this week. I realize that I've mainly be posting pictures lately and no real information, so here's a little update on the life of Isabelle. Feel free to post above with a little update of yourself! (we selbies are to apologetic about posting)
This week, the week of Mom and Caroline's birth, has been a nice week. Catalog is out, so at work things have slowed down a bit. I joined a gym that is in Rock Center (so I don't have to go outside in the cold/rain) that I will be, hopefully, fully utilizing. If I can ever wake up early I would like to do my workouts before work. I have realized that in the "real world" sitting all day is very very tedious and when I get off work I feel like running a marathon. Therefore, this exercise routine will hopefully help me become more healthy, as well as less hyper. Looking forward to spinning classes! This week I have also considered becoming a famous (or non-famous) fashion photographer, a web site designer, an editor and the most powerful woman in America. I'm not sure if any of these will work out. I think I could beat Sarah Palin, though. Actually, I don't want to be the most powerful woman in the America anymore. There goes one off the list. I have also been contemplating honeymoon ideas with David and there are many exciting options- mainly on the European continent. Even though driving around could be nice. Who knows what the gas prices will be then! Agh! Agh!
I've mailed out most of the save-the-dates this week and have gotten very positive reactions to Lillian's great design! I'm really looking forward to seeing everybody there!
Do we have any plans for a vacation next year as a family? I wonder...
I guess that not much else is happening this week. Had a nice dinner with Charleston friends last night and played a game called "Apples to Apples", collected a lot of books at work again, and going to see David play tonight with some Charleston people. I think I forgot to tell everyone but David is now a music teacher (no longer a baby store employee) and has taught everything from guitar to violin at the public schools (P.S.) in the East Village and Chinatown. Apparently he is very good with the kids.
All is well here, and hope that all is well in your parts of the world!

All is good in our part of the world. ASU won today and that should clinch the Southern Conference title (since you did go there one year).
Awww yay! I love isapdates!!! Have fun at the gym... I agree. Sitting makes you either want to fall asleep or run that marathon, and it's probably better to do the latter (in small steps, over the course of days and months). My Brazilian friend goes to spinning at the gym here... I'm thinking about getting a membership next year... it's important.
You could definitely beat Sarah Palin.
As my update (which I'm going to write here, because all family members always comment), I just got back from Hannah Montana's birthday in Dortmund, where we drank Brinkhof's! It is a very good beer ;) Also, we had lots of fun in general. There are some jumping pictures, but I'm not sure if they're good or not since apparently nobody knows how to take "good" pictures of people except us and Amy. We'll see...
Speaking of working out, I am so SORE. Have been taking an 8am "Spin and Sculpt" class, should be called "Bike until just short of total collapse and then lift weights and other stuff till you're so sore you can hardly sit down". Guess the latter title is too long for Meredith to list.... There is no idle chatter during the class as we are breathing so hard when not actually groaning.
hmm... i'm going to take a spinning class this afternoon but there is no extra activity likes yours, mom.
Awww hot mama!!!
I'm waking up before school to run now and all I can say is that it is SOOOOOOOOOOO cold. After I make it through the first half, I'm ok... but man.
I think germany's making me old. I'm bringing knee braces and reading glasses back with me after Christmas.
Btw, I made the 'Gus and Bug' my desktop and showed Herr Schulz-Wahle, and the first thing he said was "My, doesn't he have a nice nose!" (reconize!) and then "Ooh, look at the bugs legs..." he was totally fascinated by it. Can I also bring it back to show him?
You may take both Gus and the Bug. Gus just ate a loaf of bread and is hiding under our bed. The plastic bag , evidence!, is lying on his dog bed. The Bug is well-behaved btw, and doesn't eat much.
hahahahahahahaha to BOTH of your comments. I can just imagine Herr Schulz-Wahle saying those things. David and I laughed for a while...
what a nice nose! sounds like mom :)
maybe i can mail you a bug and you can give it to him for christmas or something, i know where the store is and hopefully they haven't run out!
Maybe you can just bring one home with you Iz. Every time Claire comes home, he orders a toy on ebay that Claire pays for and picks up for him and then gets Euros for it.
Papa just called, Grandma in hospital
Heeheeheeheeeee! Oh me and my old toy-obsessed teacher! And I know... out of all the people I talk to about Gus about his cute pink nose, I don't think I ever told Herr SW... and he knew the greatness of Gus's nose already!
Yes, I would love a bug for him, if they are not all gone.
Or... I WOULD LOVE GUS AND THE BUG!!! Mom, you are the funnie!
Btw, I just checked for emails, but have none... how Grandma?
Grandma admitted to East Cooper Hospital with exacerbation of COPD (breathing problems related to long term smoking - emphysema). Doing better this morning. Should stay one more night and then go home. Should be okay, although these bouts will become more frequent probably.
you are right boon! She is weak but laughed so hard today with me that she could hardly catch her breath. I guess she could literally die laughing.
