I know, you are all jealous because I got to visit LILLIAN! I got to see her lovely college where she works and was able to learn a few design things. We also saw The Black Kids (a band) at Ottobar and had a fabulous dinner prepared by one her friends on her bowling team (awesome).
It was such fun, even though it started out stressful since I missed my first bus. We are surprisingly close- 3.5 hours. Not bad. Baltimore also has way cheaper rent, food, everything which makes me want to move there immediately. New York is great though and I love my job :)
Here are some pictures from the weekend! (thanks lillian!)

SO JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!!!
Man, I never get to visit Lillillan!!!! I would even go if we read scary stories which I HATE!
And why is there always so much to do with bowling? Did you bowl???
Claire,
Your father's real parents were professional bowlers. They dropped him off at the Foundling Hospital in a bowling ball case! Grandma and PaPa thought it would be a great idea to teach us all how to bowl . . . sort of as a sick tribute. Anyway, the tradition continues.
We went bowling tonight, in fact. I bowled a 90, but KOTW beat me as usual, with a 105. Kinzman was off the beam tonight, but he usually beats me, too. Our bowling alley here is pretty old and dilapidated, but the building is painted purple, so who could resist that? We'll have to go whenever you guys come visit!
Hi Isabelle! I'm sad that I didn't get to see you while you were here - maybe next time! Just so you don't feel bad...Baltimore may be cheaper, but it's definitely not all that fantastic to live here, trust me...at least not the areas where I spend most of my time, haha. :) Hope I get to see you soon, either here or in NYC!
amy!! i'm sorry that i missed you too! i hope that your new apartment is nice and home-y! the parts of baltimore that i saw were very nice, but i dont think that i was around john hopkins.. actually i have no idea where i was! it was definitely cleaner than nyc which is a nice change! keep saving the world, and hopefully we can see each other in charleston- holidays?
