As opposed to the extreme/outdoor New Zealand life, the vibrant New York City life, and the busier than it would seem East Tennessee Life, old SI life still just revolves around sittin on the front porch and talkin or playing bridge.

It was a good night for the offense as almost every bid was made. As you can see, Gma was helping Caroline, Lynda was helping Joey, I advised John, and Papa got help from everyone. We really missed the new bridge experts, Isabelle and David, but we are keeping a seat warm for you. Hey, we have enough for two tables now!

i can't believe you threw in the ultimate way to make me homesick!! you tricky selbies!! bridge, front porches, sullivan's island, grandparents, cousins, brothers and parents!! ahhhh. at least you didn't throw gus into the mix!
Hmmmmm. We'll have to see what we can do about that, muaahhh.
Rats. How did I do a mere post.
I think you did that on purpose... I know see the incredibly cute Gus baby!
oops, meant "now"
Wow! I am more clever than I thought, hehe.
I love it when dad types "heehee" because I can hear him saying it when I read it. I just made myself laugh more, incidentally.
And yeah... talk about unexciting WONDERFULNESS. Just look at those ol' beach folk. I bet you ate "no sugar added" ice cream too!
Hehe, I can hear Dad saying "hehe" too. Let's all "hehe" together at Christmas!!
We should tell you that Joey was warned about the ice cream, but he didn't believe it. But then when Papa was dummy, ice cream with chocolate syrup showed up in front of Joey and he was forced to eat it. We have all honed our "no thank you" skills so we were able to avoid this night. Well, Mom just told me she actually got the same icwcs so she needs to practice. Lunch at IHOP today was great btw.
When Joey was dummy, he was told it was his job to let the dogs and cats in and out.
Oh mere, how have you not mastered this skill yet?
I followed about 19% of those last comments there. Why can't I play bridge?
