Well, folks. Today (I think) we find out if David got a job at Apple which means a couple of things for the selbies holiday season.
1. D&I have no idea if he will have to work day after/before Christmas and thus are debating what to do. The best thing would be for them to say "David, you are the best employee we have ever had and we would like for you to take all of Christmas week off!" but we are not so certain that will happen. In any case, that means that our Christmas plans are up in the air. We want to spend Christmas together so it may or may not be in Charleston. This also means that we will probably fly whenever we do have a free day (hurray!)... and this also means that Claire should try to fly back to Germany as late as possible!!
2. I will still see any Selbies that go to Lexington from December 18-20. One (or all) of you better be there!!!
So there you have it.. married life & holidays.

Hooray for David! Many, many felicitations. Married life and the holidays IS different, but doesn't need to be complex. Remember this, though: when the stork comes you and David will want to give the kiddos their own special traditions . . .
