Mom and Dad (in this case that means Bayne and Lynda) decided at the sort of last minute to celebrate their 34th wedding anniversary at Niagara Falls. This was brought on primarily by realizing that 2 free airline tickets they had (for getting off an overbooked flight last year) could only be used before September 1, 2008!! After initial attempts to fly to other locations came up "no space available", the idea of Toronto came up. So, on with the story, Part I.
The particulars: Fly to Toronto Saturday morning leaving Charleytown at 6 am (house at 4:30 am). Rent car. Drive to Niagara Falls. Check in to Embassy Suites overlooking Canadian (Horseshoe) Falls.

And then off for a Canadian beer!
