sorry to interrupt.

I've been meaning to post again about something other than a wedding. Here are some thoughts that I have had today, this morning and last night.

I watched the Democratic Convention last night when Hillary Clinton spoke and I, an unusually apathetic viewer, actually enjoyed it. I even feel like I like Hillary better than Obama. I need to point out that this is unusually strange for me so I sought to figure out why I feel this way. First of all, Hillary doesn't really have any pressure on her anymore in regards to trying to get elected so she could pretty much say whatever she wanted and get away with it. I'm saying this all lightly, of course. Also, my hidden feminist side came out and I began to think that , yes we do need a female president and Hillary does seem like the woman to do it. (Mom and Dad are probably rolling their eyes at this point) It was funny that she was able to give such a good "losing" speech while her husband was looking on in a somewhat drunken weepy mode. That made me think everyone is human. So, my ending point on this is- I hate politicians. I think I'm probably the first person to ever put that in type. (justkidding) The face that Hillary was talking about good things and didn't bash McCain as much as I thought made me happy. After that I was just scared though. I don't think I want McCain or Obama. Plus, large crowds scare me so watching the convention was an overwhelming event for me. It's good that I'm in one of the most populated cities in America, right? OK, that's my only and probably last political thoughts entry that I will ever write. Back to my old apathetic self now...

Next key issue is: teleportation. I decided this morning on the subway that I think we need to start investing in teleportation so that I don't have to ride the subway anymore. This is the ULTIMATE alternative fuel. No more cars.. just think. Now stop. Don't think anymore. Teleportation is a HORRIBLE idea. People could teleport into your house whenever they feel like it, countries would become blurred from so many people crossing lines, there would be no more secrets or wars... actually, that doesnt sound so bad. Let me know what you all think. I realize it's not possible but I like having imaginary conversations with myself in the mornings. Maybe that's why New Yorkers are a little crazy. Too much time to think to themselves.

Check out my first ever purchased art piece courtesy of Nathan Durfee!

End of post.

Wow. What a post. No more coffee for you. Actually, I think Mom may have ultimately voted for Hillary if she had been nominated, even though she says no. And I also think this election wouldn't even be close if Hillary was the candidate. She would win in a landslide. McCain is probably the only republican candidate who would stand a chance and Obama's inexperience will hurt him as we get closer to election. However today Papa sent me something showing we are related to Obama (on Dad's mothers side), but that doesn't mean we have to vote for him.

What? How are we related?

I didn't have any coffee! I think it was the Boot Camp yesterday. It energized me too much. All I could do yesterday was talk and watch the Convention. I wasn't even hungry. All of those things together equal me talking about the Democratic convention for waaaay too long.

PS: Should I register or something...?

yes you should register to vote. i emailed the voter registration place and they emailed me an absentee ballot today. it is very important to vote. you can also have a family member go to town council and ask for an absentee ballot for you.
