Would you be home? And would Claire be home to do it with you? I could probably run that far, but have not planned on ever doing a half marathon. What say you Peddie? This year it is on same day as Reindeer Run 5K.
I would come home for it... I think that this would be a nice half marathon for me since I would prefer to do a half marathon on flat land (perfect) and in chilly weather (perfect)!!
Come on Peddie monster, we can all do it together! ... or at least until Dad sprints away from us and gets 2nd place in his age group without training for it.. :)
heheehehe, running has actually become quite easy for me. I've been running everyday (3 miles a day) at the gym and I think if I am on flat ground I might be able to do it!
YEah!!! What day is it next year? I want to do the reindeer run this year too! What day is it?! Mom is the only one with captchas... but it's kinda sweet that way.
Dear Bug, Your dad ran Cross Country at TCHS and lettered. When I made it to high school all the cool kids, particularly the luscious Mary Z., decided to go out for Cross Country. I thought, "hmmm. I can be just like the good son, win favor with the padre, and maybe have the chance to hit on Mary!"
After the first day, when Coach Oldham had us all run 8 miles, we were chatting, on all fours, between bouts of vomiting. "This is great!" one said. "We're going to have a great team" said another.
(I really want you to imagine these comments being accompanied by heaving and wretching sounds.)
Being spiritually advanced, and also hating driving the porcelain bus, blowing beets, tossing cookies, selling Buicks, and chanting into the sacred urn, I immediately quit the team.
I never dated Mary. I will not join you at Kiawah.
Hahahaha. Well.. in that case... I've already lettered in Cross Country so maybe I don't need to run a half marathon... plus my knees are beginning to hate me. Seriously.

Sound like me. I think we need to steal all mom's knee braces while home (and possibly re-sew them so that they'll fit).
