We may have to have a vote on the favorite game. Early on the balance board seemed to be the people's choice, but now skiing, hula hoop, snowboarding, ski jumping, and even some yoga moves have entered the fray. By the way, I am afraid I have to tell Lillian that her No. 1 position in hula hoop ultimately fell. And further, John and Isabelle have amped up their competition over skiing and soccer ball heading to heights we didn't know were possible. Peddie may still leads in a number of categories, as does Caroline. In fact, Caroline has been invading Uncle B's previously private yoga territory. Not fair.
(Old Man chron age = 56, Wii fit age = 52 today!)
At any rate, I guess we will know we have really entered the 21st century techno age when our Wiis are connected via Internet (apparently not that difficult if you have wireless router in the house) and we play together from different states (countries?). In the meantime, I am practicing doing Wii commercials wearing my white lab coat in hopes of making beaucoup greenbacks.

Great post. Don't wait so long next time!
Yes, let us all connect by internet. Lillian is currently "sleeping" in our Mii parade because she hasn't been here. Waaaah.... We miss you all, and now Claire has returned to Germany.... but it feels like you are here in spirit when we blog or play Wii Fit.
What, you have a wii fit already! If this is true, we will investigate the internet thing post haste, ipso facto!
Whoops, disregard last comment. I confused mere with mamacita. Ah, senior moment. Where's a young person when I need one!
Don't worry selbyjr (what a lame name...) I hope that you guys realize that, while I'm not internettedly connected to my mii, I am in spirit... every time you see it do a yoga move or run in place, I'm actually doing the exact move here in Germs.
(btw...real "island long" running per day accomplished, but it's truely freezing here).
i think that you will soon be sleeping a lot...
aw no. Do you think its a direct correlation thing? Btw, I just read Benjamin Button and must say... you are right. How did they make a movie out of those two paragraphs?
I want to vote for Claire, John and Dad. The rest of us are close- but not AS close...
Heh... I think I've just been imitating my Mii so much that I've tricked everybody into thinking we look alike...
Wii all need Wiis! I'll just have to beg my landlord for a month of free rent! Easy as pie.
I know... I got offered a tiny tv yesterday and that was the only reason I could think of that I could take it (I didn't... I thought it would be bad for me).
I think it's time to put up the Middle East test on the blog. It's like my new Wii. All I want to do is beat Isabelle's score.
I think I'm going to play a game for all you "sleepers" every now and then so your characters will wake up and talk to mine. btw I really liked Peddie the Penguin. It gives Bad Bear some competition....
Wii update: John got a perfect score on beginner soccer heading. Didn't miss a single ball and avoided every soccer shoe and panda head. What next?!?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to come home NOW NOW NOW!
Hahaha.... luckily I locked my wii with a PASSWORD nobody would ever know!!!!! Peddie the Penguin shall only ever be controlled by BadBear!
No Badbear, No!
Wii miss you...
I miss the wii fit!
Me too. I want to log in.
And if you all DID log in, what would the WII balance board tell you .... Muaaahhhhh!
Man... I was trying to do some yoga with Pink Kati the other day... based purely on moves the wii has taught me.
you know. We have a Wii now. We still haven't tracked down a Wii Fit though. I bought the Wii as an impulse by in the check out lane of Costco. Some people by gum or a magazine!
Maybe our Miis can be friends with your Miis.
Haha!!! Maybe we can finally find out how to "mingle"!!!
