Peddiebear has expressed interest in part 2, so here goes. On Saturday night we decided that we would be true New Yorkers and live without a car. That meant driving to Winchester to take the ol' Subaru back to David's parents' house. So, Sunday morning we woke up bright and early (5:30am) and David, Robyn and I made our way to Virginia. I even stayed awake for the entire trip, an amazing feat. We arrived to a fantastic, fabulous, wonderful meal and honestly, you can expect nothing less at the Linaburg home. Yet another reason I'm so glad I joined that family. Anyway we ate our delicious meal on their back porch amongst the sweet smelling flowers and it was so great. Going anywhere away from New York is always a treat, and I think this trip was really really needed. Sometimes you
forget that there is green in the world. We also got the most beautiful Chinese chest that I just have to share a picture of so that mom can ooo and aaah. It's to hold all of the "china" that we got and can also work as a coffee table. It's really gorgeous and an antique!
Parents, you will also be happy to hear that we received some super cool silverware so we finally have started our collection. I'll share that with you later. Later on we went to Arlington and had dinner with Amanda (my sister-in-law) and jumped on our Chinatown bus back to New York. A long day.... but definitely worth it.
