Ist das wichtig? Anyway, the Faulhabers, friends of the Baumgarts (and ours) stopped by as they picked up Florian, their son, who was completing an internship with a company in Atlanta.

Florian, you will remember, spent Thanksgiving with us and got into American Football. So this time we decided to introduce them to another uniquely American treat, Smores! Some of the Mathews and some of the Williamsons were there to help them understand this camping tradition.

And we used our new little outdoor fire pit that Mom got recently. When John's friends from Boone came down for Spring Break, they all sat outside around it.

So here it is. For anyone reading this who does not know what S'mores are, toasted marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate is all you need to know.

So they all got to experience one more American tradition.

(Well, Michael may have had a wee taste of good Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey also).

I'm sorry to have missed their visit-those s'mores look great! Maybe we should build a permanent fire pit in the backyard!!
