Yes, when we watch Germany play on TV, even here in America, we put on our Germany shirts! So far we have been rewarded with excellent play by the Deutsche Mannschaft (ist das richtig?) Tomorrow morning we will arise early as Germany has the 7:30 a.m. game here.

Arg!!!!! I watched my first match of USA v. Slovenia and it was so hard to watch. The US really pulled it together for the second half but the ref made an obvious mistake in not counting our last goal... WTF?!?!
I was so mad I had to take a Tums afterward. Germany got screwed too but not as badly as we did. I heard a little while ago that the ref is being fired as of now,,,,a first for FIFA during a world cup.
I guess I feel a little better now that they are actually firing/talking to bad refs. Poor guy though, first World Cup.
Who is poor guy? The ref who cost USA a win?? Dad heard they demoted the NZ ref to assistant. I'm glad FIFA is doing something about bad calls.
Now that NZ tied Italy I don't care who wins the World Cup as that game was so exciting for us (and Kiwis. It reminded me of "The Little Engine that Could" haha

Unfortunately, they usually don't show them here when they're at the same time as other games with countries from EU playing ;(
